The strawberry harvesting season usually spans from mid-June to early July; however, variations in climate such as temperature, precipitation, or unexpected cold fronts may affect the maturation of strawberries, resulting in their readiness either earlier or later than anticipated each year.
As we head into early summer, pick-your-own berry farms are starting to bloom with sweet and juicy treats!
A couple of things to keep in mind before fruit picking: most farms will only accept cash, so be sure to bring some with you, and while some places provide containers to collect your fruit, it’s always a good idea to bring your own.
